Patellar Tendonitis

Patellar tendinitis is an injury to the tendon connecting your kneecap (patella) to your shinbone. The patellar tendon works with the muscles at the front of your thigh to extend your knee so you can kick, run and jump.

Patellar tendinitis, also known as jumper's knee, is one of the most common knee injuries seen in athletes whose sports involve frequent jumping, such as basketball and volleyball. However, even people who don't participate in jumping sports can get patellar tendinitis.
For most people, treatment of patellar tendinitis begins with physical therapy to stretch and strengthen the muscles around the knee.  Another form of treatment is the wearing of a Full Knee Compression Band that will support the entire afflicted area by compressing the tendons and ligaments surrounding the knee where they are attached there and up to the thigh area, ideal for those who have Patellar Tendonitis.

A Full Knee Compression Band by Boundr can be adjusted easily by re-aligning the material so you can make it as loose or as tight as need be in order to get the amount of compression you’re looking for.  The material is also washing machine safe and will wick away any moisture produced while wearing it because of its proprietary material makeup.
The Boundr Full Knee Band is ideal for those looking to maintain an active lifestyle while obtaining additional support and comfort for the knee.

Boundr Bands are a proprietary compression innovation that not only provides maximum support during recovery from injury but is also a non-slip, comfortable and virtually undetectable wrap that is worn under your clothes so you can maintain your active lifestyle—worry—free
